Text Messaging Terms and Conditions (Maine)
These Text Messaging Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the Ring
Property Management LLC (“Ring Property Management,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or
“our”) text messaging program (“Program”). By providing your mobile phone number and
opting in to receive text messages from us, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy
(Last updated: January 20, 2026).

1. Program Purpose
The Program is used solely for communications related to Ring Property Management LLC
services, including but not limited to:

    • Rent reminders and payment confirmations
    • Maintenance requests, scheduling, and updates
    • Lease, application, and account-related notices
    • Property announcements or emergency communications
    • Customer service responses
      Messages may be transactional, informational, or service-related. Promotional or marketing
      messages will only be sent where permitted by law and where you have not opted out.

    2. Consent to Receive Text Messages
    By opting in, you provide express consent to receive text messages from Ring Property
    Management LLC at the mobile number you provided, including messages sent using automated
    or electronic technology, as permitted under applicable law.
    Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of renting, applying for housing, or
    receiving services from Ring Property Management LLC.
    You represent that:

      • You are at least 18 years old, and
      • You are the authorized user of the mobile phone number provided.

      3. Message Frequency
      Message frequency will vary based on your interactions with us, your account status, and service
      needs. We strive to limit messaging to what is reasonably necessary to provide our services.

      4. Message and Data Rates
      Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and service plan.
      Ring Property Management LLC is not responsible for any charges incurred from receiving or
      sending text messages.

      5. Opt-Out and Revocation of Consent
      You may opt out of the Program at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive
      from us. Upon opting out, you will receive a confirmation message and no further text messages
      will be sent unless you re-enroll.

        7. Privacy and Data Use
        Your privacy is important to us. Information collected through the Program (including your
        phone number and message content) is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
        Consistent with our Privacy Policy:

          • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing
            or promotional purposes.
          • Mobile opt-in, consent data, and messaging originator information are never shared with
            third parties or affiliates for marketing.
          • Message content may be stored on secure servers operated by third-party service
            providers solely to deliver and retain communications on our behalf.

          8. Disclosure as Required by Law
          We may disclose information related to the Program only as permitted or required by law,
          including to:

            • Comply with subpoenas, court orders, or legal processes
            • Enforce our Terms of Service
            • Protect the rights, safety, or property of Ring Property Management LLC, our users, or
              others
              Any such disclosures are consistent with the disclosures described in our Privacy Policy.

            9. Service Availability and Disclaimer
            Text messaging services are dependent on wireless carrier networks and third-party service
            providers. Delivery is not guaranteed. Ring Property Management LLC is not responsible for
            delayed, failed, or misdirected messages.
            The Program is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.

            10. Changes to the Program or Terms
            We may modify or discontinue the Program, or update these Terms, at any time. Changes will be
            effective upon posting or notification, as required by law. Continued participation in the Program
            constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

            11. Limitation of Liability
            To the fullest extent permitted by Maine law, Ring Property Management LLC is not liable for
            any damages arising from participation in the Program, including indirect, incidental, or
            consequential damages.

            12. Governing Law
            These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maine,
            without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
